Maita Schade
Project Manager, Data and Digitalization (until December 2022)
Maita Schade was responsible for projects related to data and digitalization, particularly for the analysis and processing of transportation and vehicle data.
Working with data at the crossroads of technology and society has been a key aspect of her career: Before joining Agora Verkehrswende in October 2020, she coordinated the establishment of an online division for the Latin American Public Opinion Project (LAPOP), a political science research institute at Vanderbilt University. Prior to that, she worked as a management consultant for Digital McKinsey. She has also interned at the International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT), where she gained experience in transport policy.
Maita holds master’s degrees in city planning and transportation engineering, both from UC Berkeley; a Master’s in physics from the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics; and a Bachelor’s in physics from MIT.
