Marena Pützschler

Marena Pützschler joined Agora Verkehrswende in 2017 and held her current position from March 2019. She concentrated on building international partnerships in areas related to climate-friendly transport. In particular, she aimed to create more intensive dialogue between important actors from the realms of business, academia, politics, and civil society, and developed strategies with them for the effective decarbonisation of the transport sector.

Marena, who has a Master’s degree in business engineering, gathered important international experience during her studies. In 2015, she helped the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in Beijing forge a German–Chinese partnership for electric vehicles. Afterward she worked in project management for the charging infrastructure provider Ubitricity. While studying abroad at the University of California, Berkeley, she specialised in new mobility and self-driving vehicles.
