Possible Business for Bidirectional Charging in Thailand
Business opportunities in bidirectional charging
Exchange between Thai and German experts
About this event
Thailand has set itself ambitious electromobility and renewable energy targets. Bidirectional charging helps to achieve these targets in a cost-efficient way, as it offers valuable flexibility for the electricity sector. If this is financially rewarded, it can reduce the cost of electric vehicles for consumers and support the ramp-up of electromobility.
In this webinar, we have discussed relevant business models in bidirectional charging, potential hurdles to their implementation as well as possible solutions, with particular focus on Thailand. The exchange offered the opportunity to learn from the experiences in the respective countries and to strengthen international cooperation.
This webinar is part of the project on the Thai German Cooperation on Energy, Mobility and Climate (TGC EMC).
